The International Boxing Federation (IBF) has shaken its weight class rankings. In the welterweight division (up to 66.7 kg), Ukraine's Karen Chukhadzhian has jabbed his way up from tenth to seventh place. Notably, the top two spots remain up for grabs, with Jaron Ennis reigning as the current IBF champ in this class.
Petro Ivanov holds his ground in the top 10 of the super middleweight category (up to 76.2 kg), currently ranking eighth. The undisputed champ in this weight class? None other than Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez.
Ivanov's 2023 has been explosive – he scored a 12th-round KO against Gino Kanters and a 4th-round takedown of Juan Boada. Chukhadzhian, on the other hand, has been busy throwing punches thrice in the ring – taking a hit with a judges' decision loss to Jaron Ennis but bouncing back to KO both Michael Marcano and Pietro Rossetti.
