Dubois – Sanchez Fight Sent to Purse Bid

The IBF has announced purse bids for the heavyweight eliminator between former world champion Daniel Dubois and Cuban contender Frank Sanchez, who currently occupies the No. 4 spot in the organization’s rankings. The teams were required to reach an agreement by October 22, but failed to do so. The purse bid will take place on November 13.

The winner will become the mandatory challenger for Oleksandr Usyk — or whoever holds the IBF world title at that time.

Several fighters had previously declined the fight with Sanchez (25-1, 18 KO), including Filip Hrgović, Efe Ajagba, Moses Itauma, and Richard Torrez.

Dubois (22-3, 21 KO) is coming off a fifth-round knockout loss to Oleksandr Usyk in their rematch.
