According to insider Dan Rafael, the International Boxing Federation (IBF) has officially ordered a heavyweight showdown between current IBF titleholder Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs) and veteran contender Derek Chisora (36-13, 23 KOs).
The IBF has set a negotiation deadline of May 22. If no agreement is reached by then, the fight will head to a purse bid.
Dubois is coming off a knockout win over Anthony Joshua, while Chisora recently scored a decision victory over Otto Wallin.
Meanwhile, separate reports have hinted at ongoing negotiations between Oleksandr Usyk and Dubois, with a potential fight targeted for July 12 — raising questions about which bout will materialize first.
