IBF Sets Bidding for Bakole vs. Kabayel Fight

The International Boxing Federation (IBF) has scheduled promotional bidding for the fight between Congolese boxer Martin Bakole (21-1, 16 KOs) and German Agit Kabayel (25-0, 17 KOs) for November 5.

The bout will serve as a final eliminator to determine the next mandatory challenger for the IBF heavyweight championship title (over 90.7 kg), currently held by British fighter Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs).

In August, Bakole handed American Jared Anderson (17-1, 15 KOs) the first loss of his career, knocking the prospect out in the 5th round.

In May, Kabayel stopped Cuban Frank Sanchez (24-1, 17 KOs) with a knockout in the 7th round.
