IBF Eliminator Azim – Lemos Postponed. Both Boxers Injured

The IBF Super Lightweight eliminator between Briton Adam Azim and Argentine Gustavo Lemos has been postponed.

The bout was supposed to take place on January 31 in London, UK; however, both fighters sustained injuries during their training camps.

Gustavo Lemos was forced to withdraw from the fight due to a hand injury. A replacement opponent was found, but Azim also suffered an injury during sparring, and subsequent scan results confirmed that Adam will be unable to box.

The promotional company Boxxer confirmed that the IBF eliminator between Adam Azim (14-0, 11 KOs) and Gustavo Lemos (30-2, 20 KOs) will be rescheduled for a later date in 2026.

A decision regarding the entire January 31 boxing event will be announced shortly.
