20-year-old British heavyweight prospect Moses Itauma is experiencing difficulties in finding an opponent for his next fight on December 13 in Manchester, United Kingdom.
According to The Ring insider Mike Coppinger, among the possible candidates being considered are 37-year-old American Michael Hunter and 28-year-old Briton David Adeleye.
At the same time, attempts to organize a fight between Itauma and Filip Hrgovic or Zhilei Zhang were unsuccessful.
Earlier it became known that Itauma declined the IBF final eliminator against Frank Sanchez, the winner of which was to become the mandatory challenger for the undisputed heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk.
On August 16, Moses Itauma (13-0, 11 KOs) defeated Dillian Whyte by first-round technical knockout. As part of the same boxing card, David Adeleye (14-2, 13 KOs) lost to Filip Hrgovic by unanimous decision.
Michael Hunter (24-1-2, 17 KOs) last fought in December 2024 against Cristian Larrondo, winning by fifth-round technical knockout.
