Hughie Fury to Fight Twice in Three Weeks

The brother of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, Hughie Fury (26-3, 15 KOs), officially announced his return to boxing on March 19. His first fight since 2021, when he won by technical knockout against Christian Hammer, will take place on April 20th. The venue for the bout has been confirmed as Rotherham, Great Britain, though the opponent's name has yet to be disclosed. However, a follow-up fight has already been confirmed. Peter Fury, Hughie's trainer and father, has verified that after this bout, his fighter will enter the ring again on May 11th at an event in Cardiff, Great Britain. This will mark Hughie's second fight within three weeks. Opponents for both matches will be announced at a later date.
