British heavyweight Hughie Fury (30-3, 17 KOs) is setting his sights on a world title, with full support from his father and trainer Peter Fury.
“At the start of the year, Hughie said nothing would stop him until he becomes a world champion — and he’s sticking to that,” said Peter.
“We’re building momentum now toward that title run. He’s working great in the gym, exactly where he needs to be, and showing a level worthy of a world champion. That’s what’s going to win him the belt next year.”
Fury himself echoed that confidence:
“Nothing will stop me from becoming heavyweight world champion — I’m on the path to the title.
If you follow heavyweight boxing, you’ll know Michael Pierotton is a dangerous young fighter. It’s a bold move to face me, and I respect that.
He has nothing to lose and everything to gain. June 28 will be a tough night, but my hand will be raised in the end,” said Fury.
Hughie Fury will face Michael Pierotton on June 28 in Hull, UK.
