Hrgovic Sets a Tough Ultimatum for Himself

Croatian mandatory IBF heavyweight contender Filip Hrgovic (17-0, 14 KOs) has declared that he will end his career if he loses to Daniel Dubois (20-2, 19 KOs), because he considers himself the best heavyweight in the world.

"I don't know why Dubois brought up our sparring. That sparring wasn't so good for him, and I don't know why he mentioned it. If I were him, I'd keep quiet about it. He said he's changed. Sure, he's changed because he was very young when we sparred, but I was young too. I think he's improved, but you can never change your character, because you are who you are. Of course. I think I'm the best. I've been working hard, and I've been in this sport for 18 years, working like a damn maniac. If I lose to Dubois, then to hell with all this, man. If I turn out not to be good enough, I'd retire," said Hrgovic.

The fight between Filip Hrgovic and Daniel Dubois is scheduled for June 1st in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
