Mandatory IBF heavyweight contender Filip Hrgovic shares his thoughts on the upcoming fight between WBA, WBO, and IBF champion Oleksandr Usyk and WBA mandatory contender Daniel Dubois.
The Croatian athlete expressed doubts about the fight and hopes it fails so that he can have a chance to face Usyk in the ring for a title fight.
"The WBA is in front of me, it's their turn now. So I'm not upset, but there's a good chance that Dubois hasn't recovered from his injury. There's a lot of talk that I'm next in line."
"I think that nothing has been signed yet. Maybe I will be the next contender. We'll see what happens with this fight. But I'm not disappointed," Hrgovic said in an interview with YouTube channel Boxing Social.
