During the pre-fight press conference, the two big men exchanged verbal jabs, with Hrgović mocking Joyce’s speed and Joyce reminding the Croatian of their past encounter in the amateurs.

“He’s slow as fog. His next nickname might be Joe ‘The Fog’ Joyce. He’s very slow. I don’t know how he plans to knock me out. We’ll see on Saturdayю He’s a good fighter, a brave guy like me. This will be a good fight.
