Hernandez vs. Lugo Fight Officially Announced

Matchroom Boxing has officially announced the fight between super featherweight contenders Eduardo Hernandez (34-2, 31 KOs) and Daniel Lugo (27-2-1, 18 KOs). The boxing evening is scheduled for May 11th in Mexico.

As part of the event, WBA super bantamweight champion Erika Cruz (17-2, 3 KOs) will defend her title against Nazarena Romero (13-0-1, 7 KOs).

Eduardo Hernandez last entered the ring in October of the previous year against O'Shaquie Foster (22-2, 12 KOs) and lost by technical knockout. Daniel Lugo fought Mauricio Lara (26-3-2, 19 KOs) in February, and their bout ended in a draw.
