Eddie Hearn, head of Matchroom Boxing, commented on the upcoming match between WBA, WBC, and WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford and WBA super welterweight titleholder Israil Madrimov (10-0-1, 7 KOs). The promoter believes it will be a challenging night for Terence.
"I have a bad, very bad feeling about Terence Crawford's fight against Israil Madrimov. Every time I hear about Terence, it's only Crawford-Canelo talks, sometimes Crawford-Ennis. On August 3rd, Terence will fight the strongest puncher he's ever faced. I'm telling you, after the first hit he takes, Crawford will realize this. We'll see what happens, but I have a very bad feeling. I think it's really going to be a tough fight. I just want to advise Crawford to put off all his plans until August 4th," said Hearn.
Terence Crawford and Israil Madrimov will meet on August 3rd in Los Angeles, USA, at super welterweight. In addition to Madrimov's WBA belt, the WBO interim championship title will also be on the line.
