Hearn Picks Favorite for Wardley vs. Clarke Fight

In an interview with Boxing News, promoter and head of Matchroom Boxing Eddie Hearn picked a favorite between Fabio Wardley (17-0, 16 KOs) and Frazer Clarke (8-0, 6 KOs).

"I really like Fabio. We've had him in many fights. I also really like Frazer. He has a lot of experience against many good heavyweights, but not over a professional distance.

But so does Fabio, because his fights always ended early. Nevertheless, I lean towards Frazer Clarke because of his experience against the better heavyweights, but Fabio is a sniper.

I expect Wardley to be very sharp at the start, but it all depends on whether Frazer can close the distance and get into his work rate.

The bout between Fabio Wardley and Frazer Clarke is scheduled for March 31st in Greenwich, England. In this match, Fabio will be defending his BBBofC British and Commonwealth Boxing Council titles.
