Hearn on the Possibility of Rooney vs. Jake Paul

Eddie Hearn, head of Matchroom Boxing, has spoken about the potential boxing match between former Manchester United player Wayne Rooney and blogger Jake Paul (8-1, 5 KOs).

"Rooney has some boxing experience, was an amateur and knows how to take care of himself. Wayne Rooney vs. Jake Paul at Old Trafford would be a huge event, and I would bet on Wayne to win," said Hearn in a comment to DAZN Boxing.

Jake's next fight is scheduled for March 2, where he will meet Ryan Bourland (17-2, 6 KOs). Rooney has talked about the possibility of a boxing match but without any specifics.
