Hearn on a Possible Usyk–Fury Trilogy: “Nobody Cares About That Fight”

Eddie Hearn, head of Matchroom Boxing, has dismissed the idea of a third fight between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury, insisting fans want something else.

“Nobody is interested in Usyk vs. Fury. People want to see Tyson against AJ,” Hearn stated.

Usyk and Fury faced each other twice in 2024, with the Ukrainian winning both bouts. Following the second defeat, Tyson Fury announced his retirement.

Anthony Joshua has not fought since 2024, when he suffered a stoppage loss to Daniel Dubois. His return to the ring is expected in the first quarter of 2026.
