Hearn on Joshua’s Reaction to a Jake Paul Fight: “Just Tell Me Where”

Matchroom Boxing head Eddie Hearn has spoken about the discussions surrounding a potential fight between their fighter Anthony Joshua and influencer Jake Paul.

“Yes, we talked to Joshua about this fight. He said: ‘Just let me know where and when.’

I mean, of course he’s interested in that option… We’ve already discussed it. We’re not getting too excited, because we don’t fully understand what’s real and what’s just talk. But, like I told you three or four months ago: if you want AJ to end this, just send the contract.

There were no contracts at all. It was a conversation. That’s it. And, you know, maybe we’ll continue discussions, or maybe we won’t,” Hearn said.

Jake Paul was scheduled to face Gervonta Davis on November 14, but the fight was canceled. Paul is now looking for a replacement and plans to return to the ring in December 2025.
