Hearn Aiming to Sign Crawford's Potential Opponent?

British promoter Eddie Hearn has expressed his desire to sign a contract with the IBF welterweight champion (up to 66.67 kg) Jaron Ennis (31-0, 28 KOs).

"We had a brief conversation. But ultimately, we would like to make Ennis a part of the Matchroom team. He's one of the best P4P fighters in the world. We'll see where it leads," Hearn said.

It was previously revealed that Ennis has filed a lawsuit against NOW Boxing, wishing to terminate his contract and seeking over $1 million in compensation for breach of contract terms.

Last year, Ennis became the IBF welterweight champion after the federation stripped Terence Crawford of the title.
