Hearn Doesn’t Rule Out Joshua’s Return Before End of 2025

Matchroom Boxing head Eddie Hearn revealed that his fighter, former unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, could return to the ring before the end of 2025.

“In my conversations with Joshua, I asked him: ‘What do you want?’ And he said: ‘I want to become heavyweight world champion again. That fire still burns inside me. Of course, if I could fight Fury — I’d gladly do it. And if it were for a world title, that would be a dream come true.’

You asked if there’s a chance he could fight this year. I’ll answer: yes, there’s a chance. That’s all.

Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs) has not fought since his stoppage loss to Daniel Dubois in the fall of 2024.
