Eddie Hearn Shares Thoughts on Ryan Garcia's Behavior and Readiness for Fight

Eddie Hearn, the head of Matchroom Boxing, recently weighed in on the much-anticipated match between WBC junior welterweight champion Devin Haney (31-0, 15 KOs) and Ryan Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs). He particularly focused on Garcia's behavior leading up to the fight and expressed confidence in the American boxer's readiness.

"This is a fantastic fight. A lot of people are just tuning in to see what state Ryan is in because of the crazy things he's been saying. He's in control of that narrative. Once he lands in New York, he's going to be under intense media scrutiny. I don't believe for a second that Oscar De La Hoya, Bernard Hopkins, his family, or Derrick James would let him fight if he wasn't ready. If they did, they should be ashamed," Hearn stated.

He concluded by affirming his belief in Garcia's current form, "I think Garcia looks great in the gym."

The fight between Haney and Garcia is scheduled for April 20th in New York, USA, and it has generated significant interest not only for the athletes' prowess in the ring but also for the dynamic personalities they bring to the sport.
