Haymon Still in Talks with Canelo

According to insider and ESPN journalist Salvador Rodriguez, negotiations between the undisputed super middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (60-2-2, 39 KOs) and Al Haymon's promotional company Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) are ongoing.

Sources indicate that Haymon and Canelo are discussing organizing a bout against Jaime Munguia (43-0, 34 KOs) on May 4th in Las Vegas, specifically as part of a PBC event.

It was previously reported that PBC and Alvarez parted ways by mutual consent due to the company's proposal to organize a fight against Jermall Charlo with a guaranteed purse only if Alvarez agreed to a subsequent fight against David Benavidez.
