Haye: "Zhilei is Made for Wilder"

Former champion David Haye commented on the upcoming bout between American Deontay Wilder (43-3-1, 42 KOs) and Chinese Zhang Zhilei (26-2-1, 21 KOs).

"Big fight between two guys who lost to Joseph Parker. Deontay Wilder will win if he can recapture his old magic, if he can land punches because he didn't do that in the fight against Parker.

Joseph Parker took them both out. Considering how Zhang absorbs right-hand punches, one could assume he's made specifically for Wilder. If Wilder can get back to something close to his old magic, he should stop Zhang," Haye said.

The bout between Deontay Wilder and Zhang Zhilei will take place on June 1 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as part of the 5 vs 5 tournament between promotional companies Matchroom Boxing and Queensberry Promotions.
