The former two-division world champion and former adviser to Britain's heavyweight boxer Dereck Chisora, David Haye, revealed who he will meet in his next bout.
"We will have a trilogy bout against Dillian Whyte, they have agreed on the terms. The winner will receive 60 percent of the purse, the loser 40. Whyte lost to Itaumi in his last fight, but it reminds me of Gatti – Ward. Regardless of the stage of their careers, the fight will always be even and full of drama."
What a wonderful way for Dereck to end his career. I sat with Dereck at the Pride of Britain Awards ceremony on Monday, and he was very excited," – said Haye.
Chisora (36-13, 23 KOs) has not lost since 2022, when he was stopped by Tyson Fury. Since then Dereck defeated Gerald Washington, Joe Joyce and Otto Wallin. Whyte (31-4, 21 KOs) in his last bout was knocked out in the 1st round by Moses Itaumi. This defeat was his first since, in 2022, Dillian Whyte KO'd Tyson Fury in the 6th round.
