Haye speaks out on getting cut before fight with Fury

Former world boxing champion David Haye shared how he received a similar injury before his bout against Tyson Fury, the same kind of injury that led to Fury canceling the fight against Usyk:

"In 2013, I got cut a week before the fight, and what did I hear from Fury? Even to this day, I hear the accusation: 'He got cut just because he didn't want to fight.'

In reality, at that time, I thought, 'Before the most important fight of your life, you might have to go through something like this.' And here we are," said Haye.

According to Fury's team, he sustained the cut during sparring with Croatian fighter Agron Smakici (20-2, 18 KOs).
