Life After Ring: Hatton on What's Next for Fury and Brook!

Former world champ Ricky Hatton has a piece of sage advice for Kell Brook and Tyson Fury about life post-boxing:

"Retiring wasn't easy for me, really tough.

I'm concerned for lads like Kell Brook and Tyson Fury, who are my pals. It's high time they start planning for life after the ring.

If Kell's feeling down and throwing punches again lifts his spirits, well... Eventually, we all hang up our gloves. We get too old. I'm already there.

I listened to Tyson's chats and watched his Netflix show. It makes you wonder what he will do when he stops boxing.

Finding a new gig is crucial. Sure, you can keep training and smashing the bag, which helps. But the bell rings for the last round for all of us. It's hard to accept. We wish it weren't so.

I'm worried about Kell and Tyson. They've got to find something else. Kell could still draw crowds for exhibition matches, but those don't last forever. When the spotlight fades, you need something to fill that void," Hatton shared.

Tyson Fury's gearing up for a February 17 showdown in Saudi Arabia against Oleksandr Usyk. After beating Amir Khan, Kell Brook hasn't been in the ring since 2022.
