Haney Sends Strong Message to De La Hoya!
WBC champion in the first super lightweight category (up to 63.5 kg), Devin Haney, shared a humorous exchange with promoter Oscar De La Hoya before his match against Regis Prograis.
He revealed their previous correspondence: "Funny story. Got a message from Oscar before the Prograis fight. I was surprised, but he wished me luck. He wrote, 'Good luck, do your thing.' I scrolled up and saw that i had sent him to hell before. It was funny. But I thanked him because he's a legend and wished me luck in the fight," said Haney.
