Haney Open to Battle with Stevenson

The reigning WBC super lightweight champion (up to 140 lbs), Devin Haney (31-0, 15 KOs), has responded to the possibility of facing the WBC lightweight champion (up to 135 lbs), Shakur Stevenson.

- Shakur Stevenson could become a free agent. His next fight is his last with Top Rank. Would you like to make a fight against him?

- Of course. I want to make the biggest fights against champions. Right now, my main focus is on Ryan Garcia. But we were ready for Shakur at lightweight too.

Haney, a former undisputed lightweight champion, was once a contender for a fight against him; however, Devin decided to move up in weight class to super lightweight.
