WBC lightweight (up to 63,5 kg) champion Devin Haney (31-0, 15 KOs) has expressed interest in a unification bout against WBA titleholder in the same division, Isaac Cruz (26-2-1, 18 KOs).
"I like it when guys call me out because it makes for good fights, if Cruz is serious.
This is a fight I'll be looking into after I beat Ryan Garcia on April 20th. It would be no different – I'd make him look average, like I do these guys.
It's not easy, I just make it look that way," said Haney.
Devin Haney's next fight is against Ryan Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs) on April 20th in New York, USA.
On the night of March 31st, Isaac Cruz achieved a technical knockout in the 8th round against Rolando Romero (15-2, 13 KOs) in a fight for the WBA lightweight title.
