Devin Haney, the world champion in the lightweight division (up to 63.5 kg), shared in an interview with The Boxing Voice that he envisions a realistic path to move up to the middleweight division (up to 72.5 kg) before concluding his career. With a plan to transition after securing a championship in the preceding weight class, this ambitious goal could see him retire as a five-weight world champion.
Currently holding titles in two categories – lightweight (as the undisputed champion) and the first super lightweight (WBC) – Haney recently disclosed the weight he carried in the title fight against Regis Prograis.
