WBC super lightweight champion Devin Haney (31-0, 15 KOs) reflected on his fight against Vasyl Lomachenko (17-3, 11 KOs).
"I gained so much experience. I took Loma's experience and added it to my own. You could see how much better I was in my next fight against Regis Prograis.
But that's what happens when you fight great fighters. You learn, gain experience, and get better. That's why I'm happy with what I was able to learn in that fight, to win and move forward," said Haney.
Devin Haney and Vasiliy Lomachenko met last May in a bout for the absolute world lightweight championship (up to 61.2 kg), with Haney winning by unanimous decision. Devin's next fight will be against Ryan Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs) on April 20th in New York, USA. On May 12th in Perth, Australia, Lomachenko will face George Kambosos (21-2, 10 KOs) for the vacant IBF lightweight title and the IBO belt held by George.
