Haney Files Lawsuit Against Ryan for Assault

President of Top Rank, Todd duBoef, has addressed the ongoing negotiations with Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) regarding a potential fight between WBA lightweight champion Gervonta Davis (30-0, 28 KOs) and IBF and IBO champion Vasyl Lomachenko (18-3, 12 KOs).

"We were all for it. We met with Gervonta Davis and many people from PBC. Lomachenko is at a stage in his career where he’s experienced, has seen it all, done it all. But what he hasn’t done is unify all the titles and become the undisputed champion. I think that’s what he really wanted, which is why his disappointment after the fight with Haney was so palpable. But he wanted to take a break, and we supported that decision.

There was a structure in place that was relatively easy to execute, and it could have been done. But in the end, it depends on the athletes.

There’s no agreement yet. By structure, I mean the way we set up Wilder and Fury, where the foundation was laid for a quick collaboration between PBC and Top Rank to create a massive event. The details differ, but you have a blueprint for how to work, and that's a good start.

Will this fight happen? I don’t know, who knows," duBoef said.

Earlier reports indicated that negotiations between Lomachenko and Davis had taken place but were eventually halted.
