Haney Picks the Best Between Lopez and Matias

WBC junior welterweight (up to 63,5 kg) champion and former undisputed lightweight (up to 61,2 kg) champion Devin Haney (31-0, 15 KOs) shared his opinion on who he considers the better boxer between Subriel Matias (20-1, 20 KOs) and Teofimo Lopez (19-1, 13 KOs).

"We've seen Teo at the highest level. We haven't seen Matias at that elite level.

In my opinion, the better one is Teo. He has more experience," Haney said.

On April 20, Devin will be defending his WBC title for the first time against Ryan Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs) in New York, USA.

Matias and Lopez are champions in Haney's division. Teofimo holds the WBO title, while Subriel has the IBF title. As of now, neither has potential opponents announced.
