Hamzah Sheeraz to Fight for World Title on February 22 – Promoter

Frank Warren, founder and head of Queensberry Promotions, shared details about the next bout for British middleweight boxer Hamzah Sheeraz (21-0, 17 KOs) during a conversation with insider Michael Benson.

According to the promoter, his client will fight for a world title on February 22 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on the undercard of IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs).

"Frank Warren has stated that Hamzah Sheeraz's next fight will be for a world title and will take place at the same venue as Daniel Dubois's return on February 22 in Riyadh. However, he did not confirm whether it will be against Janibek Alimkhanuly or another champion," Benson reported.

Hamzah Sheeraz is ranked first by the WBC, where the champion is Carlos Adames (24-1, 18 KOs), and by the WBO, whose titleholder is Janibek Alimkhanuly (16-0, 11 KOs)
