Gvozdyk Prepares for Comeback with Gilberto Ramirez

Former world light heavyweight champion (up to 79.4 kg) Oleksandr Gvozdyk (20-1, 16 KOs) is sparring with the former Mexican champion Gilberto Ramirez (45-1, 30 KOs).

Gvozdyk last fought in September 2023, knocking out Brazilian Isaac Rodrigues (28-5, 22 KOs). Ramirez last entered the ring in the fall of 2023, winning by judges' decision against American Joe Smith (28-5, 22 KOs).

Previously, Gvozdyk stated that he plans to take revenge on Artur Beterbiev (20-0, 20 KOs) and compete for the undisputed championship in the light heavyweight category.
