Gvozdyk Knocks Out Holloway in Return to the Ring

On the night of April 20, at Frontwave Arena in Oceanside, USA, former world champion Oleksandr Gvozdyk (21-2, 17 KOs) returned to action in a cruiserweight bout (up to 90.7 kg) against Anthony Holloway (9-8-3, 7 KOs), as part of the undercard to Fundora vs. Badillo.

Gvozdyk claimed a third-round KO victory, dropping Holloway twice before the referee stepped in to wave it off.

This marked Gvozdyk’s first fight since his loss to David Benavidez in June 2024. For Holloway, the defeat snaps a two-fight win streak.
