Ukrainian light heavyweight, Oleksandr Gvozdyk, has expressed his ambition to feature his fights on the undercard of the undisputed middleweight champion, Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez.
Gvozdyk perceives this as the most promising strategy to draw audience attention at this juncture in his career.
"Even though Reynoso is my manager, it doesn't confine me to only fighting on Canelo's card. At this stage, the best route for me is to participate in his undercard. The prospect of millions of fans tuning in, streaming on DAZN, and Canelo's card—what could be superior?"
"If that doesn't pan out, I'll fight elsewhere. I have no constraints. It's simply the best option available. If it's attainable, of course, I desire it and aim to fight in Canelo's events. What could be superior?" Gvozdyk stated in an interview with Viktor Yalymov's Boxing Studio YouTube channel.
