Gvozdyk Confirms Fight Date Against Benavidez

Former world light heavyweight champion (up to 79.4 kg) Ukrainian Oleksandr Gvozdyk (20-1, 16 KOs) hinted at the date of the fight against Mexican David Benavidez (28-0, 24 KOs).

Gvozdyk posted a poster of two fights: Gvozdyk vs. Benavidez and Gervonta Davis vs. Frank Martin. According to the poster, the tournament will take place on June 22nd in Houston, Texas, USA.

The tournament will be streamed on Amazon Prime. The Gvozdyk vs. Benavidez fight will be for the "interim" WBC light heavyweight title.
