Gervonta and Shakur Set for Showdown

As reported by IFL TV, WBA lightweight champion (up to 61.2 kg) Gervonta Davis (30-0, 28 KOs) will face WBC titleholder in the same category, Shakur Stevenson (22-0, 10 KOs). The bout is scheduled for November 23 in Las Vegas, USA.

On June 15, Gervonta Davis delivered a knockout in the 8th round, handing Frank Martin (18-1, 12 KOs) his first career loss. Davis was initially set to fight IBF lightweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko (18-3, 12 KOs) at the end of the year, but negotiations fell through.

On July 6, Shakur Stevenson won a unanimous decision against Artem Harutyunyan (12-2, 7 KOs).
