According to The Ring, the WBA lightweight title bout between Gervonta “Tank” Davis (30-0-1, 28 KOs) and WBA super featherweight champion Lamont Roach (25-1-2, 10 KOs) generated significant gate revenue, though it fell short of Davis’s personal record.
A total of 16,420 tickets were sold, with an additional 766 complimentary tickets issued. The event brought in a total of $6,415,815 in ticket sales.
While impressive, the figure is well below Davis’s career-high of $22.8 million, which came from ticket revenue for his blockbuster knockout victory over Ryan Garcia.
The fight between Davis and Roach ended in a draw—the first of Davis’s professional career.
