Gervonta Davis Calls Out Conor Benn: Fight Night on the Horizon?

WBA lightweight champ Gervonta Davis (29-0, 27 KOs), sitting at the top of the 61.2 kg division, threw down the gauntlet to Britain's welterweight contender Conor Benn:

"No kidding around. After seeing your last scrap...give me three weeks and I'll school you. You got that?" - Gervonta punched out on his Twitter.

Conor Benn fired back, "Look who's talking, the wizard from down under who's famous for tangling with dames. Let's get it on. Cut the yap, pint-sized. Eddie Hearn, slide into this bloke's DMs and let's get this bout on the books. Bet he'll snapshot your chat, so let's see the play-by-play. Catch you on the flip," Benn clapped back.

"I'm in the corner, waiting on you, Eddie Hearn," was Davis's corner call.

Gervonta last stepped into the ring in April of the previous year, sending Ryan Garcia packing with a knockout. On his part, Benn clinched a victory by judges' decision against Peter Dobson in his last bout.
