Garcia vs. Golden Boy: A Heavyweight War of Words Pre-Fight!

Ryan Garcia didn't pull any punches in his verbal bout with Golden Boy and Hopkins, surrounded by his crew.

At the final presser, the American fighter, Ryan Garcia, let loose before squaring off with Oscar Duarte. Post Bernard Hopkins' jab, claiming Garcia was just shadowboxing with words, Ryan hit back with:

"Man, hanging with Golden Boy is like being stuck in a clinch. You can't break. They're all over me 'cause I'm the main event - they can't let go of something so fire. It's like, 'No way I'm dropping this champ, too flashy.' That's the game. But let me land a few body shots here. First, Bernard's talking like he's the ref deciding if I hang up my gloves or stay in the ring after this dance.

Nah, he's not the one calling the shots. My corner, my crew, everyone grinding with me day after day - they're in my corner. And at the final bell, the Big Guy upstairs has the final say, not B-Hop. No one rang the bell on his career. What, he hung up his gloves at 45? Respect for that. But he's not in my weight class to call this.

He's saying I'm throwing air punches, spitting fiction. But hey, wasn't it him who said he'd never take a dive to a white fighter? Then Joe Smith Jr. sends him flying ringside. Last I checked, Smith's as white as they come. That's the real duck and weave," Garcia fired off.

This ain't the first clash in the ring between Ryan and Hopkins. Before this, Garcia wasn't vibing with Bernard's take on his career's next rounds.
