Garcia Not Being Pulled from Fight Against Haney

Oscar De La Hoya, the head of Golden Boy, confirmed that they do not plan to pull American lightweight (up to 63.5 kg) representative Ryan Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs) from the bout against WBC champion Devin Haney (31-0, 15 KOs).

"I spoke with Garcia yesterday via FaceTime. He looks good; he's ready. Ryan went to training camp yesterday.

There are 6-7 weeks left – it's the perfect time, all is well," reports TalkSPORT journalist Michael Benson quoting Oscar.

The fight between Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney is set to take place on April 20 in New York, USA.
