Garcia vs. Haney: The First Official Press Conference Unfolds

The WBC champion at super lightweight (up to 63,5 kg), American Devin Haney (30-0, 15 KOs), and his upcoming opponent Ryan Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs) held their first official press conference.

Ryan made an entrance with his throne, which he placed instead of a chair, and then vowed to annihilate his opponent.

"I'm going straight for his neck. I promise you. It's going to be ugly. You'll need an assistant.

I love New York. People think I hate New York. If this is New York, so be it. I will destroy you on April 20th," Garcia stated.

Devin, on the other hand, is convinced his opponent wants no part of the fight and could bail at any moment.

"We know Ryan doesn't want this fight to happen. He's fooling people. We've already seen Ryan run away. April 20th will be different.

We can say he wants to fight me, but we don't know. If he goes for another run with Floyd, he might drop out," Haney remarked.

The showdown between Haney and Garcia is set for April 20th in New York.
