Garcia: "I Would Knock Out Mayweather in His Prime"

American super lightweight (up to 63,5 kg) boxer Ryan Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs) is confident in his form and promises to enter the fight against Devin Haney (31-0, 15 KOs) with the intention of knocking him out. He also claims he could have knocked out Floyd Mayweather in his prime.

"I truly believe I could knock out Floyd Mayweather in the prime of his career. You asked me who I could knock out, and I answered. If you don't like my answer, that's your problem.

I'm going to approach Haney with my hands down and knock him out. I guarantee it. I'm going to stand in front of him with my hands down, hit him with two punches, and knock him out.

He's going to be knocked out in the first round. He'll be knocked out in any round I choose. If I want, I'll torture him in the ring. I guarantee you.

His father will have three chances to save him, otherwise, something really bad is going to happen to Devin Haney in the ring, and you know what that will be," said Garcia.

The Garcia-Haney fight is scheduled for April 20 in New York, USA, with Devin's WBC title on the line.
