Fundora Stops Badillo to Retain Undisputed Title

On the night of April 20, at Frontwave Arena in Oceanside, USA, undisputed flyweight champion (up to 50.8 kg) Gabriela Fundora (16-0, 8 KOs) successfully defended her titles against previously unbeaten Mexican challenger Marilyn Badillo (19-1-1, 3 KOs).

Fundora claimed a seventh-round TKO victory after Badillo took a knee and the referee waved off the bout.

This marks Fundora’s first defense of her undisputed crown and hands Badillo the first loss of her professional career.
