Gabriela Fundora Stops Alexas Kubicki

On September 21 at Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, California, Gabriela Fundora (17-0, 9 KOs) successfully defended her undisputed title at Flyweight (112 lbs / 50.8 kg), stopping Alexas Kubicki (13-2, 2 KOs) by seventh-round TKO.

For the 23-year-old Fundora, it was her second successful defense of the undisputed crown and her third straight stoppage victory, following her April win over Marilyn Badillo, also by seventh-round knockout.

For Canada’s Kubicki, this marked just the second loss of her career. Her previous defeat came in May 2023, after which she put together a seven-fight winning streak.
