British boxer Tyson Fury offered Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk to meet on April 29 in London, and in case of refusal, he intends to fight with another opponent. This is reported by the Daily Mail.
As reported by a British publication, Tyson Fury has confirmed his upcoming fight on April 29th, scheduled to be held at Wembley Stadium. The Briton insists that Oleksandr Usyk agree to box on this date for the title of absolute world champion in the super heavyweight division.
Fury's team proposed the new fight location due to organizational issues in Saudi Arabia, which was initially thought to be the leading contender. The organizers in Jeddah have been unable to confirm the timely construction of a new arena, which was intended to be the venue for the fight.
In the event that Usyk declines to box in London, Fury has made a principled decision to fight another opponent on April 29th at Wembley.
Oleksandr Usyk currently holds the WBO (World Boxing Organization), WBA (World Boxing Association) and IBF (International Boxing Federation) titles.
