WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is demanding $500 million for his unification bout with WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight title holder Oleksandr Usyk. The Briton said that the Ukrainian is too light for the fight to be interesting from a sporting point of view.
“This fight is just for the money. I am happy in retirement, I have a lot of money. This should be the largest salary in the world. Floyd Mayweather received $400 million for Manny Pacquiao. I want $500 million for Usyk."
“The whole legendary pound-for-pound status – I don’t appreciate it. It's just good cover. I'll tell you, I could beat Usyk during a week's training because he's a middleweight, I'll punch him... It's an easy fight."
