Former middleweight champ Carl Froch has dropped some hard-hitting insights on Tyson Fury's current form and his mindset facing Francis Ngannou. He questions Fury's drive:
"You step into the ring thinking the win's in your pocket and lose that winner's edge. You play it too cool and casual because you think it's a done deal.
I bet Fury could school Ngannou in a do-over.
But let's face it, Fury's glory days are in the rearview. He's slowing down, bulking up. A word from his camp is Tyson's not hitting the pavement or sparring like the old days. He's pulling a Joshua – checks his bank balance and asks himself, 'Why bother with boxing?' It seems like his heart's just not in it anymore," - Froch spilled to TalkSportBoxing.
Tyson Fury is slated to enter the Ultimate Fighting Championship ring against Oleksandr Usyk on February 17 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
