Former world champion Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) is confident of securing a stoppage victory in his rematch with WBA, WBC, WBO, and IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs).
“There’s this guy who beat me, took my virginity, and carried it off to Ukraine, Saudi Arabia, or Spain—I don’t even know where he lives, but he took the win from me, and it bothers me. I don’t care what anyone else does. There’s a guy who’s got me by the b****.
I’m not okay with the fact that he beat me last time, and damn it, I won’t let him beat me again. I have to knock him out, that’s it. I’ll train and prepare for a proper KO, and I’ll get it, just like I did with Wilder in our rematch. I said I’d knock him out, and I did. I’ll do it again—I’m knocking this b***** out,” Fury declared.
In May, Oleksandr Usyk defeated Tyson Fury by a split decision to become the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world. The rematch is scheduled for December 21 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
